AIDS spreads threatening women’s health
In the middle of 1980s, HIV began to spread all over the world, threatening human safety. At that time, scientists have discovered, AIDS is caused by HIV, and its transmission channel is through blood transmission, vertical transmission and sexual intercourse. Blood transmission and vertical transmission can be more easily controlled with laws; however, for the control of HIV sexual transmission, laws become more ineffectual.
Scientists first thought about controlling HIV transmission with vaccines, but until now there is still no effective vaccine; so people could only use the concept of physical barrier to prevent HIV transmitted among sex partners, condom thus became the best way then. However, condom fails to block HIV transmission completely during sexual intercourse, especially condom may break during the process, and also it cannot avoid contact of sex organ after removal of condom. That is to say, condom play a role in preventing HIV transmission, but it is still not totally satisfying. So tenders were invited by WHO to subsidize development of new technologies and medicines which prevent sexual transmission of aids. And because of this, “VIVA sterilization fluid” manufactured by Optimally Holding Co., Ltd. was born and appeared in the market.
